Timing is everything! Remember that your resume is your brochure, and you are selling yourself. So repackage your skills, experience, and projects in a way that highlights the experience, strengths, and competencies the company is seeking. Let me know how I can help.

this really opened my eyes to the of a cover page on a resume as i have never taken the time to create one but after learning this information i might have to start creating a cover page for my resumes.

You may never know if your resume ever gets seen by a human or if your cover letter is ever read; however, it could be the one thing that sets you apart from other candidates that lands you the interview. So always do your best to write a short, engaging, and targeted cover letter.

I particularly agree with the statement made that choices are best guesses...aND hopeful steps taken in a specific direction.
My advice: When you base a decision with all of the facts that you have available at that time, and you can see how the choice leads you closer to your LT career goal....you should be confident knowing that you did your best in making a decision with the information that you had available at that time.
And...that is all any of us can do -- right?
